Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 24, 2026
1. Introduction
agentplatform ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
This policy applies to all users of the agentplatform service, including agent operators (who define and deploy agents), plugin developers (who build and publish plugins), and end users (who interact with deployed agents).
2. Data We Collect
Account data: Email address, name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
Agent configuration data: HCL configuration files you upload or create through the Service. These define your agent's channels, LLM settings, and plugin configuration.
Agent runtime data: Conversations and interactions processed by your agents, including messages from end users, LLM requests and responses, and plugin inputs/outputs. This data passes through our infrastructure to provide the Service.
Plugin data: Plugin source code and metadata submitted to the marketplace by plugin developers.
Usage data: Service usage metrics including API call counts, latency measurements, error rates, and feature usage. This data is used for billing, performance monitoring, and Service improvement.
Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, device information, and access logs collected automatically when you use the Service.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the Service: Processing agent runtime data, executing plugins, routing conversations through channels
- To bill you: Tracking usage for subscription billing and plugin marketplace revenue sharing
- To improve the Service: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve performance and reliability
- To communicate with you: Sending account-related notifications, security alerts, and product updates
- To enforce our terms: Detecting and preventing abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Use
4. What We Do NOT Do With Your Data
We believe this is as important as what we do:
- We do not train AI models on your data. Agent conversations, configurations, and plugin data are never used to train or fine-tune language models.
- We do not sell your data. Your data is never sold to third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose.
- We do not share agent runtime data across accounts. Your agent conversations are isolated to your account.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only in these circumstances:
- With LLM providers: Agent conversations are sent to the LLM provider you configure (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) for inference. Their privacy policies apply to that data.
- With plugin services: Data is sent to plugins you activate in your agent configuration. Marketplace plugins run on our managed infrastructure. Plugin developers do not have direct access to your data unless their plugin is designed to export it (which is disclosed in the plugin description).
- With service providers: We use infrastructure providers (hosting, monitoring, payment processing) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- When required by law: We may disclose data in response to valid legal process, such as a subpoena or court order.
6. Data Retention
Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion to allow recovery.
Agent runtime data: Conversation logs are retained for 90 days by default for debugging and audit purposes. You can configure shorter retention periods or disable logging entirely in your agent configuration.
Agent configuration data: Retained while your account is active. Exportable at any time. Deleted within 30 days of account closure.
Usage and billing data: Retained for the duration required by applicable tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) for all data
- Encryption at rest for stored data
- Network isolation between customer environments
- Access controls and audit logging for internal access
- Regular security assessments
No system is perfectly secure. We will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use only essential cookies required for the Service to function (authentication, session management, preferences such as dark mode). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that track you across sites.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to certain processing activities
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@agentplatform.app.
10. International Data Transfers
The Service is hosted in the United States. If you are located outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
